Intense Ltd. acquires High Power Devices, Creating New Global Innovator in Diode Lasers

Intense Ltd. , developer of next generation modular laser products, has acquired High Power Devices, Inc. The merger of the two businesses forms a powerful new global supplier of individually addressable laser arrays and high power single emitters, bars, and stacks for a wide range of customers and markets.

Centers of Excellence

The combined company, called Intense Ltd., will offer two complementary centers of excellence. The US facility in North Brunswick, NJ, will continue to focus on the development of high power lasers, including the ongoing production of single emitters. The UK facility in Glasgow, Scotland, will focus on the production of monolithic laser array products for the global print and imaging markets.
